Update on Jared Remy Murder Case
Jared Remy allegedly killed his girlfriend Jennifer Martel in Waltham.
The probable cause hearing for alleged killer Jared Remy has been postponed to Oct. 9, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.
Remy, the son of Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy, is charged with killing his girlfriend, Jennifer Martel, in August. Remy has pleaded not guilty.
The hearing had been scheduled for Sept. 12 at Waltham District Court. However, the DA's office announced Wednesday that prosecutors and Remy's attorney had jointly agreed to postpone it. The DA’s office cited scheduling reasons for the delay.
