New England Walk4Hearing Family Picnic Kick-off

With 6 weeks to go until the 7th
annual New England Walk4Hearing, the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA)
Boston Chapter will host a family picnic kick-off event at Gore Place in
Waltham on Sunday, September 15th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.  The event will be hosted by WJMN-FM 94.5
morning show co-host Santi DeOelo.



HLAA and Walk4Hearing representatives will be on hand to
discuss the 7th annual walk, and exactly how the organization
champions for those who are affected by hearing loss here in Massachusetts. The
majority of the day will be filled with family-friendly activities like access
to the farm which has sheep, goats and chickens; clowns and face painting;
soccer balls, Frisbees, jump ropes and a variety of complimentary snacks and
drinks. There is an expected 150 to be in attendance.



The HLAA is the nation’s largest consumer
advocacy organization for people with hearing loss and is dedicated to
providing information, education and support to enable those with hearing loss
to live full and productive lives.
