Nature Journaling at Prospect Hill Park

All ages welcome! Learn to capture the beauty of nature with pen and paper. Prospect Hill Park, with scenic views and beautiful forests, is sure to inspire creativity. We collect acorns, leaves, and other cool items from nature and will practice sketching using a traditional Japanese 3-step approach.  Be prepared to take a short hike on the forest trail. This activity is great for beginners and children ages 8 and up. Bring your own journal if you have one. Otherwise, materials will be available for you to make your own, and colored pencils and crayons will be available to share. Please dress warmly!
