If you haven't heard...I'll be looking to get elected to Waltham's City Council on Nov 8th, 2011. I care a great deal about the Waltham community as I feel it's my duty to make it the best it can be and at the same time help those in need. Raised in an inner city, my role-models were few but I was very fortunate that my parents kept me on the straight and narrow. I want to be the role model that I seldom had and set an example for our children and young adults in Waltham. Being a councilor will be the best way to make an impact at so many levels. I am an optimist and a perfectionist. These traits are great assets but they have caused me a lot of frustration. Fortunately, I have learned to be patient. I really want to take Waltham to new levels and I pray that my neighbors give me the opportunity to do so. Check out my website: www.sazo4council.com to learn more about me.

Areas that I will focus on to improve Waltham are:

• Pushing for smart business development for both large and small businesses
• Job creation
• Upgrade city’s webpage to improve communication
• Maximize city budget
• Help Council become more efficient
• Elevating the elegance of Waltham by addressing stagnant projects, avoiding empty store fronts, empty buildings & empty lots
• Provide transparency, accessibility and accountability
• Push for Waltham to become a 100% Green City
• Be a Role-model for up and coming leaders

How am I different from the rest?

• I focus on win-win solutions
• I am an active listener
• I am a problem solver
• I am not afraid of exploring new ideas
• I am a team player
• I bring a new perspective both culturally and professionally.

At the end of the day, Waltham residents, you are the boss. I promise to work hard so please let me work hard for you.

I respectfully ask for your vote on Nov 8th.

God bless!
