Recent Waltham Arrests: Drug and Assault Charges

Saturday, April 27 Orlando Farias, 27, of 80 Harvard St., arrested and charged with destruction of property over $250. Chanelle Baker, 21, of 175 Forest St., arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. John Rogers, 56, of Belmont, arrested and charged with trespassing. Sunday, April 28 David Saulnier, 39, of 9 Highland St., arrested and charged with assault and battery. Monday, April 29 Oscar Payes, 27, of 30 Francis St., arrested and charged with possession of a class E substance, driving with a licensed suspended for DUI, driving under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and failing to keep right for an oncoming vehicle. Recent Waltham Arrests: New York Man Charged with Break-In

The following information was supplied by the Waltham Police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, April 24  Nathan Holmquist, 36, of Lawrence, arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and for being a fugitive from justice.  Shane Martz, 22, of 194 Weston St., arrested and charged with assault and battery. Thursday, April 25 Frank Figueroa, 34, of Dedham, arrested and charged with a crosswalk violation and driving with a suspended license. Clare Fanning, 48, of 192 Charles St., arrested and charged with assault and battery. Friday, April 26  Ryan Cunniff, 23, of New York City, arrested and charged with breaking and entering nighttime for felony. Clare Fanning, 48, of 192 Charles St., arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Waltham Man Arrested for Pruning Shears Incident

The suspect will return to court in June.

Newton Police have charged Gustavo A. Diaz, 44, of 49D Harvard St., Waltham, with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (pruning shears), police said.  Police arrested Diaz after they responded to Newton-Wellesley Hospital on Monday, April 22 to speak with someone regarding a stabbing that had occurred earlier in the day on Farwell Road in Newton. According to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office, Diaz was arraigned in Newton District Court on Tuesday, April 23, and released on personal recognizance. He was ordered not to abuse the victim and is due back in court for a pretrial conference on June 11, the DA's office said.

Monday, April 15 Domingo Figueroa, 40, of 11 Castle St., arrested and charged with unarmed robbery and assault and battery. Khynat Senethep, of East Hartford, arrested and charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, two counts of leaving the scene of property damage, a marked lanes violation, failing to stop or yield, speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Recent Waltham Arrests: Man Charged with Open Container Violation

Friday, April 12 James McGurk, 24, of 11 Berkshire Rd., arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (second offense), leaving the scene of property damage and two counts of failing to keep right for an oncoming vehicle. He was also arrested on warrant charges for breaking and entering (nighttime felony) and driving with a suspended license.  Philip Kelly, 32, of Grafton, arrested on a warrant charge for breaking and entering nighttime felony and driving with a suspended license. Waltham Police Looking for Attempted Break-In Suspect

The suspect attempted to break into a home in the downtown area.

Waltham Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in an attempted break-in on Wednesday, April 17, according to the department's Facebook page.  At around 3:45 p.m., a man attempted to break into a home in the area of Main and Willow streets by cutting the window screens, according to police. He failed to access the house. The suspect is described as a white man in his early or mid-20s who was wearing a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He was carrying a black backpack and wearing a black hat backwards with white lettering. He has a tattoo on his right arm.  If you have any information, please call Waltham Police at 781-314-3600.

Recent Waltham Arrests: Two DUI Incidents

Monday, April 8 Kevin Parker, 47, of 4 School St., arrested and charged with three counts of assault and battery. Richard Bombardier, 51, of 1125 Main St., arrested and charged with failing to stop for police and driving under the influence of alcohol (second offense). Michael Edmunds, 36, of 336 Crescent St., arrested and charged with a marked lanes violation, driving under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Waltham Man Busted for DUI-Related Crash in Newton

The suspect allegedly drove into several parked cars in Newton.

A Waltham man was arrested in the early morning hours of April 7 after he allegedly drove under the influence and crashed into parked cars in Newton. Angel Ledesma Fuerte, 30, of 7 Pine St., was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (third offense), marked lanes violation and eight counts of open containers, Newton Police said. According to reports, police responded to Mague Avenue just after midnight on April 7 for reports of a drunk person in the driveway. When police arrived on scene, they found a driver asleep at the wheel of a black GMC Yukon. Police said it appeared as though the driver veered off Mague Avenue and crashed into several cars parked in a driveway.  When police found the sleeping driver, the …

Saturday, April 6 Ottoniel Vasquez-Cabrera, 27, of Wellesley, arrested and charged with a one-way street violation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Sunday, April 7 Gamal Province, 36, fo 51 Pond St., arrested and charged with assault and battery. Anibal Najarro, 45, of 98 Central St., arrested and charged with a two counts of marked lanes violation, arrestee furnishing a false name, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol (first offense). He is also charged with leaving the scene of property damage. He also faces warrant charges for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
