Man Held For Dangerousness Hearing in Waltham Axe Attack

Jan. 18 is next court hearing.

A  Waltham man has been ordered held without bail for a dangerousness hearing later this month. Tracy Hough, 42, who police say allegedly attacked his father with an axe yesterday, will next appear in Waltham District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 18.  Hough has been charged with attempted murder, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, mayhem, violation of an abuse prevention order, failure to stop for police and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.  Hough was captured at 12:30 a.m. this morning after he led police on a brief car chase, according to police. Police Search For Axe Wielding Man Who Attacked Father

One goes to the hospital in domestic incident. Police call it attempted murder.

Waltham Police are searching for a 42-year-old man who allegedly attacked his father with an axe this afternoon.  Police have identified Tracy Hough as the suspect, and are asking the public to provide them with any information on his whereabouts, according to a police press release. He was last seen driving a 2000 black Jeep Cherokee, with Massachusetts license plates 981-AK2. He is considered armed, with an axe, and dangerous.  At 12:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving a father and son at 120 Copeland St., according to police.
