Three new faces were elected to the City Council and School Committee A woman was found not guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol when she struck a Waltham man two years ago. A former Watertown councilman requested access to the warehouse he is accused of growing marijuana in. WCVB-TV revealed new details in the recent triple murder in Waltham.

1. City Councilor Gary Marchese announced he would run for the 10th Middlesex County State Representative seat. If elected, Marchese would replace former rep. Peter Koutoujian, who was recently appointed as the interim Middlesex County Sheriff. Koutoujian himself replaced former sheriff James DiPaola who killed himself last year. Marchese said that he would focus on public safety, education and balancing the state’s budget, if he won the seat. 2. Waltham would lose around $625,000 in local aid under Gov. Deval Patrick’s proposed fiscal 2012 state budget. The deepest cuts would be $587,280 in general local aid, and $29,387 in veterans’ benefits. In total, the city would lose $625,755, but would receive $8,024,015 in general aid. The budget …
