Time spent practicing at the firing range paid off, police said at a community meeting Wednesday night.

He spoke Wednesday night during a community meeting at Watertown High School sponsored by the Watertown Police Foundation. So when they opened fire on an unarmed suspect hiding in that boat, firing what sounded like hundreds of rounds into a dense residential neighborhood - unnecessarily - that was a result of good training? I'm not anti-LE - I admire them for the difficult job they do. But just because they put themselves in harms way to protect us, shouldn't mean they are above reproach. Thankfully, everything …   more ›
A Muslim organization has called for an investigation into the shooting of a Waltham murder suspect.
A man, who allegedly implicated himself and one of the accused Boston Marathon bombers in the 2011 triple homicide in a Waltham home, was unarmed when he was shot and killed by an FBI agent, according to the Washington Post. However, a source told FOX 25 Todashev attacked the agent with a sword. Two law enforcement officials told the Post that Ibragim Todashev, 27, of Orlando, FL, was not armed when a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent shot and killed him. Real classy @Joaquina… blaming the victims of a horrible crime. You should change your handle to Sherlock Holmes because it looks like you solved the crime – it’s a shame no one asked you before it sat unsolved for a few years. You talk about lack of evidence against a person who is under questioning (note - this does not imply guilt), but yet your comment is full of speculation... Interesting   more ›
