As a result of ongoing snow clearing operations in Waltham, McCarthy said all trash pickup service will be delayed by one day this week. Wondering where to put all that debris for Waltham crews to pickup? Waltham crews will be picking up storm debris until Nov. 2, according to the city website. Residents should place debris on the sidewalk, however, the city is asking residents not to place branches longer than 3-4 inches in diameter in the pile. Logs, stumps and tree trunks will not be accepted.

For example, residents who would have their trash colelcted on Monday, Jan. 16, should have it on the curb by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
