Waltham Trash Pickup Delayed One Day

Today is Patriots' Day which means trash pickup is delayed one day.

Trash pickup in Waltham will be delayed by one day this week due to the holiday, Patriots' Day.  For example, if you trash is usually collected on Monday, it will instead be picked up on Tuesday.

Waltham Trash Service Delayed One Day

Ongoing snow removal operations have forced the city to delay trash pickup.

Trash pickup service in Waltham has been delayed one day, according to Waltham Mayor Jeanette McCarthy.  As a result of ongoing snow clearing operations in Waltham, McCarthy said all trash pickup service will be delayed by one day this week.   If you have a trash service issue of any kind, you can call the Consolidated Public Works Department at 718-314-3855.

Hailey, you are clearly a city worker or the spouse of a city worker. Did you happen to try and drive from point A to point B in Waltham Saturday evening or Sunday? Did your car stall out in South Waltham because the streets were not plowed? I had to assist my neighbors push their car because they were stuck in the snow Sunday night. Where to Put Your Storm Debris For Pickup

Find out where you can place that debris for city crews to pickup.

Wondering where to put all that debris for Waltham crews to pickup? Waltham crews will be picking up storm debris until Nov. 2, according to the city website. Residents should place debris on the sidewalk, however, the city is asking residents not to place branches longer than 3-4 inches in diameter in the pile. Logs, stumps and tree trunks will not be accepted.

Waltham Trash Pickup Delayed One Day Next Week

Don't forget to put your trash out!

Due to theMonday,  Jan. 16. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, trash collection will be delayed one day this week, according to the Consolidated Department of Public Works. Residents are advised to place all trash and recycleables at their curbs by 7 a.m. one day after their regular pickup day. For example, residents who would have their trash colelcted on Monday, Jan. 16, should have it on the curb by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
