A Chinese food delivery driver was robbed on Dec. 30 on Ash Street.
Police arrested a Waltham man on Dec. 30 after he allegedly robbed a Chinese food delivery driver, possibly at gun point, according to FOX 25. Luis Fuentes, 33, of 74 Chester Lane, faces charges for assault and battery, armed carjacking, assault with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery, according to Waltham Police arrest logs. The driver was making a delivery to 148 Ash St. when two men approached him and possibly displayed a gun, according to FOX 25. The two men allegedly took cash out of the driver's wallet and fled. Police and a K-9 unit tracked one of the suspect's to 18B Myrtle St. and arrested him, according to FOX 25. Police did not locate the second suspect.

Scott Steverding, 30, of Waltham, is charged with carjacking a woman at needlepoint.
A Middlesex Superior Court grand jury has indicted Scott Steverding, 30 , of Waltham, on charges that he carjacked a young woman in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot on Harvard Street recently. Steverding is facing charges for armed carjacking, unarmed robery, armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office. He has yet to be arraigned. The unarmed robbery charge stems from an alleged Aug. 13 incident in Waltham. Authorities believe Steverding carjacked a 17-year-old woman at needlepoint on Aug. 14, claiming the needle had HIV-tained blood, according to the DA's office. Scott Steverding is accused of carjacking a woman outside a Waltham CVS on Aug. 13.
A 30-year-old Waltham man accused of carjacking a teenager was ordered held without bail after a dangerousness hearing at Waltham District Court on Aug. 20, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office. Scott Steverding, 30, of Waltham, is facing a slew of charges, including armed carjackign and attempted murder, for allegedly carjacking a woman outside of the CVS Pharmacy on Harvard Street on Aug. 13. Police say Steverding threatened to stab the victim with a syring filled with what he said was HIV-tainted blood. Steverding is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Sept. 20 at Waltham District Court, according to the DA's office.

A Waltham man accused of carjacking a woman on Aug. 14 has been ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing. Scott Steverding, 30, of Waltham, was arraigned at Waltham District Court on Aug. 16. The dangerousness hearing is scheduled for Aug. 20 Steverding, who appeared tired during the court hearing, faces charges of armed carjacking, assault with a dangerous weapon and attempted murder. He also faces a separate charge of unarmed robbery, but stemming from a separate incident on Aug. 13. During the court hearing, Judge Gregory Flynn appointed an attorney to represent Steverding. Scott Steverding, 30, will be arraigned on Aug. 16 at Waltham District Court on charges of attempted murder, armed carjacking and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to the report. Police say Steverding, who is homeless, carjacked a woman outside the CVS Pharmacy on Harvard Street, threatening to stab her with a needle filled with HIV-tainted blood. He also allegedly stole $200 and the victim's purse, according to the AP.

Suspect claimed to have HIV.
Waltham Police are responding to a reported carjacking in which the suspect claimed to have HIV, according to Patch correspondent Stephen Walsh. Follow Waltham Patch on Facebook for continuous updates. The incident occured at around 12:15 p.m. at 12 Harvard St. and the suspect is known to police, according to Walsh. Police reportedly have video of the suspect.
