Rex Trailer, the famed TV host who owned a Waltham television studio, passed away at 84.  A wedding videographer allegedly scammed a Waltham couple by not delivering their promised wedding video. Middlesex County District Attorney Gerry Leone announced he would not seek a third term.  Police arrested two people for allegedly robbing banks in Waltham and Arlington.

Alleged Waltham/Arlington Bank Robbers Arraigned

The pair will return to court on Jan. 29

Two individuals arrested in connection with a pair of recent bank robberies in Waltham and Arlington were arraigned on Jan. 11, according to Arlington Police. Andrea Koutis, 30, of Arlington was arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court on one count of armed robbery. Erik Stout, 35, of Somerville, was arraigned on one count of armed and masked robbery. Koutis was ordered held on $100,000 bail while Stout was held on $250,000 bail, according to Arlington Police. The pair is due back in court on Jan. 13 for a probable cause hearing.  Both suspects are being held at Suffolk County Sheriff's jail on Nashua Street in Boston. Pair To Be Charged in Waltham/Arlington Bank Robberies

The pair allegedly attempted to flee State Police.

Two individuals will face charges for allegedly robbing banks in Waltham and Arlington on Jan. 8, according to State Police. Andrea Koutis, 30, of Arlington and Erik Stout, 35, of Somerville, will face charges for allegedly robbing the East Cambridge Savings Bank in Arlington and the Sovereign Bank on Trapelo Road in Waltham, according to State Police. They are also facing charges for attempting to flee State Police later in the day. Investigators discovered evidence indicating the pair robbed the Arlington bank at around 4:15 p.m. and robbed the Waltham bank approximately 20 minutes later. State Police Investigating Two For Link To Waltham/Arlington Bank Robberies

State Police have arrested two people they believe could be linked to both bank robberies.

The Massachusetts State Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating two individuals for their possible connection to two bank robberies on Jan. 8, including one in Waltham, according to State Police. State Police arrested two men on Jan. 8 after a short vehicle pursuit in Boston and later discovered evidence that could link them to the robberies of a Sovereign Bank in Waltham and East Cambridge Bank in Arlington, according to State Police. State Police are investigating Andrea Koutis, 30, of Arlington and Erik Stout, 35, of Somerville. Waltham Police Responding to Reports of Bank Robbery

The robber allegedly fled down Lexington Street.

Waltham Police are responding to reports of a bank robbery at Sovereign Bank at 1045 Trapelo Road, according to Twitter and police scanner reports.  The suspect is described as an Hispanic man who possibly displaye a gun and then fled on foot down Lexington Street, according to Matthew Carter, who tweets police and fire incidents under @matredsoxfan2.
