Armed Robbery Reported at Waltham Store

Suspect is reportedly a white male, dressed in black.

An armed robbery has been reported at Kristina's Variety on Warren Street in Waltham, with a masked man fleeing in a red car, according to Twitter reports. At around 8:45 p.m., a white male fled the store after showing a knife, according to Twitter user Matthew Carter, @matredsoxfan2. The robber was wearing all black clothes and a mask. It's not clear if anything was taken. Watertown Police have issued a "be on the lookout" order for the robber, according to Carter. Patch correspondent Stephen Walsh confirmed a robbery had occured.  Stay tuned to Waltham Patch for updates.

Waltham Police Responding To Armed Robbery

Robbery occurred at 71 Pine St.

Waltham Police are responding to reports of an armed robbery at 71-75 Pine St., according to scanner reports. The first report came at 5:24 p.m. The suspect is described as a thin Hispanic male, wearing a black jacket, red hat, ski mask and blue jeans. He fled the store in a black pickup truck with tinted windows and a rack on the back, according to an alert put out by Newton Police. Reports indicate it was a market that was robbed, but while no market is at the address, Pine Street Market at 69 Pine St. is nearby. The suspect allegedly robbed the location with a knife. Also, Waltham Police are advising that the description matches that of the suspect from an armed robbery on the Newton/Waltham line yesterday.

Waltham Police Respond To Report Of Armed Robbery; Find No Crime

Police have cleared the area around CVS locations in Waltham.

Waltham and State Police just responded to a report of an armed robbery at a CVS Pharamacy, but authorities did not find any crime had occured at either the CVS on Lexington Street or the Harvard Street location, according to scanner reports. While details are still sketchy, Waltham Police received a report via text message of an armed robbery at a CVS in Waltham. Officers responded to both the CVS on Harvard Street and location on Lexington Street, but did not find any incident had occurred, according to scanner reports and Patch correspondent Matthew Carter. Waltham Police Seeking Public's Help In Sunday Armed Robbery

Armed robber struck local store.

Police are asking for the public's healp in solving an armed robbery on Sunday, Dec. 4. At 8:34 p.m. on Sunday, Dec., 4, a white, heavyset man, standing 6 feet 1 inches, allegedly robbed Lakeview Convenience store at 227 Lake St., according to Waltham Police Detective Sgt. Joseph Guigno. The suspect is also described as wearing brown baggy pants and a brown jacket, Guigno said. The suspect allegedly walked into the store and demanded money from the manager, who was in the process of depositing it, according to GUgino. “He brandished a footlong knife with a white handle,” Guigno said. The manager handed the robber an unknown amount of money and fled the scene, Guigno said. Police responded and searched for the suspect, but did not find him…
