Waltham Man Arrested For Robbing Chinese Delivery Driver

A Chinese food delivery driver was robbed on Dec. 30 on Ash Street.

Police arrested a Waltham man on Dec. 30 after he allegedly robbed a Chinese food delivery driver, possibly at gun point, according to FOX 25.  Luis Fuentes, 33, of 74 Chester Lane, faces charges for assault and battery, armed carjacking, assault with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery, according to Waltham Police arrest logs.  The driver was making a delivery to 148 Ash St. when two men approached him and possibly displayed a gun, according to FOX 25. The two men allegedly took cash out of the driver's wallet and fled. Police and a K-9 unit tracked one of the suspect's to 18B Myrtle St. and arrested him, according to FOX 25.  Police did not locate the second suspect.

Armed Robbery in Waltham; Suspect Arrested

Suspect allegedly robbed a gas station on Prospect Street.

Waltham Police arrested a 16-year-old Waltham man on Dec. 14 after he allegedly robbed a gas station with a BB gun. The incident started at around 9:57 p.m. on Dec. 14 when police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Colvin's Gas Station at 185 Prospect St., according to police. The robber had allegedly passed a note to the station clerk demanding an undetermined amount of money and fled the store with some cash, according to police.  Officers arrived and searched the areas of Curtis and Highland Streets and found a man matching the robber's description, according to police. The man fled but officers chased him as they waited for backup. Clerk Foils Waltham Armed Robbery With Stapler

A Waltham gas station clerk foiled an armed robbery on Monday, Aug. 27 after hitting the suspect with a stapler, according to Waltham Police. The incident started at around 3 p.m. when a white male walked into the BP Gas station at 6 Maple St. and held the store up at gunpoint, according Waltham Police. The man pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and demanded cash but the clerk fought back by tossing a stapler at the robber, striking him in the face, police said. The robber fled south on Crescent Street on a bicycle. He did not obtain any money during the robbery.  Police described the suspect as a white man, with blonde hair and a beard. UPDATED: Man Robs Waltham Store At Gunpoint

Suspect displayed a firearm before fleeing the scene.

UPDATED, 3:29 p.m. with information from Waltham Police dispatch on Twitter:  Police say the suspect is described as a white man wearing beige shorts a Patriots shirt with Tedy Bruschi's name on it and a blue baseball hat. The suspect fled south on Crescent Street on a bicycle. He also has a beard.  ---------------- Waltham Police are responding to a reported armed robbery at the BP gas station on Maple Street, according to Patch Correstpondent Stephen Walsh and Twitter reports.  The suspect allegedly displayed a handgun and fled on a bicycle, according to Walshm. Police are searching for a white man who allegedly robbed a Waltham store on Aug. 12.

Waltham Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed Kristina's Variety at knifepoint on Aug. 12. At around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the store at 42 Warren St., according to police. A man, who police believe is in his 30s, allegedly robbed the store as he pointed a red-handled knife at the clerk. The suspect fled in an unknown dircetion and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30s, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, according to police. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with "Salem, Massachusetts," printed on it.
