I'm glad he is representing him. There will be no "ineffective counsel" argument if he gets convicted.   more ›

Aren't you guys a little curious as to WHY the SP couldn't do the investigation? We keep saying, "ah we asked if they could do and they said no". That's it!!! WHY?? Remember the Chief in NH did something wrong and their SP had to investigate. It was on the news. I can't remember what he did but they investigated. And so we keep paying him. Whereas, if we funded the independent investigation the mayor wanted to see if he had violated department policies (which he may have whether he is guilty of beating his wife or not), we might be able to stop the drain of his salary while he awaits trial.   more ›

If we are paying him $12,000 a month, it sounds reasonable to spend $10-$20k to make a case to stop doing so. The math makes sense. Let him retire and collect his pension, but no reason to keep paying someone that shouldn't be on the job,   more ›
