Don't Drink and Plow The Wayland Police Department received a call the night of Feb. 8 about an erratic snowplow operator in the area of Maple Street. Police responded to the scene and observed John Wright, 49, of Natick fail to stop for a red light and nearly back his plow into the officer. Police say that Wright was intoxicated and had an open bottle of vodka in the plow with him. With assistance from the Massachusetts State Police K-9 unit, a Waltham man was arrested Sunday night in Sudbury after trying to evade officers during a traffic stop. According to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady, an officer on patrol on Boston Post Road witnessed a car going at a high rate of speed at about 10:19 p.m. The operator refused to pull over as police were forced to use stop sticks to halt the driver. After the stop sticks were used, the operator ran from his car near the Land Rover dealership and into a wooded area. Grady said State Police brought in its K-9 unit to help track down the suspect. SUDBURY -- The Sudbury Police Department arrested a Waltham man on Monday, Sept. 3 after officers responded to Boston Post Road after receiving a call about an erratic driver. Jairo Paiz Campos, 33, of 1 Willard St., in Waltham was located and pulled over. After responding officers completed an investigation, he was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. He was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Sept. 4. Campos' passenger was placed in protective custody.

Thomas P. Geary is facing his second charge of DUI.
A Waltham man is faching DUI charges for a Friday, July 20 incident in Sudbury. At 12:07 a.m., Sudbury Police stopped Thomas P. geary, 28 of 55 Briarwood Rd., Waltham, on Boston Post Road. After the responding officer completed an investigation, Geary was arrested and charged with operating under influence (second offense) and a marked lanes violation.

The Sudbury Police Department is seeking a man of Asian descent for questioning in regards to a larceny at the Wayside Inn Antique show on Saturday. The larceny was of a ceramic statue valued at $15,000. The man wanted for questioning was last seen at the antique show on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. He is approximately 30 years old, 5-foot-7 with a medium build. He has black hair parted in the center, and he weights approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-colored nylon jacket. He has dark eyes and olive complexion. Anyone with any information about this man or the statue should call the Sudbury Police Department.

SUDBURY -- A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department Wednesday night on Boston Post Road resulted in the arrest of a Waltham man. At about 10:19 p.m., an officer patrolling Route 20 observed a car driving less than a car length away from another car, Lt. Robert Grady said. The officer also used his radar gun to clock the speed of the tailing car. After the officer stopped the car and completing an investigation, John Crivello, 31, of 77 Rich St., was arrested on charges of following too close and speeding. The investigation also showed Crivello was operating under the influence of alcohol. Crivello was bailed out at 2:21 a.m. on Thursday.
