The man allegedly attacked law enforcement agents during questioning, according to reports.
A man who was being questioned in the Boston Marathon bombing case allegedly confessed that he played a role in the 2011 murder of three men in a Waltham home, according to NBC News. Ibragim Todashev, 27, was shot and killed by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents after he attacked the agents with a knife, according to NBC News. Todashev attacked the agents as he was about to sign a written confession in the murder case, according to NBC News. The report does not specify what role Todashev played. FOX 25 also reported Todashev was being questioned in the murder case. Boston Marathon Bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev left a goodbye note claiming that the bombings were retribution for the U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and said he and his brother were martyrs. The news comes as state and federal authorities are investigating the possible connection Dzhokar and his brother, Tamerlan have to the murder of three men in a Waltham in 2011. The East Watertown neighborhood where Tamerlan Tsarnaev battled police - and where he died - was familiar ground for the Boston Marathon Bombing suspect. The route Tsarnaev took during his car ride on the night of the Watertown shootout that left him dead took him within a "stone's throw" of the home where his friend, Brendan Mess, was found murdered on Sept. 12, 2011, according to the Boston Globe. Authorities have amassed evidence indicating accused Boston Marathon bombers Tamerlan and Dzhokar Tsarnaev possibly killed three men in a Waltham home in 2011, according to ABC News. Investigators have "mounting evidence" including forensics pointing toward the Tsarnaev brothers," says ABC.
