With spring finally here, potholes are now more visible in Waltham, and you may be wondering how you can request they be repaired. Waltham’s city government offers residents a way to report the potholes through its website. Click on the link and follow the instructions. You can also report potholes to the Consolidated Public Works Department by calling 781-314-3855.

Submit pothole reports to Patch.
With the multiple snow storms this winter will come potholes, big and small. They make simple daily chores such as driving to the grocery store a bumpy ride, to say the least. Some potholes can even damage cars. Want to avoid all of that? Become part of the solution — submit your reports of pothole locations (with the street address the pothole is closest to) to Waltham Patch, including photos and a description of its size and depth. Don’t forget to submit those same reports to the City of Waltham’s pothole reporter. The idea here is to create a map pinpointing the location of potholes around the city. Almost ever street listed here is on a paving list. Issue is Money $$$ and then utilities. Unlike years ago when they would pave roads then rip it up to put in new pipes they now have utilities come in and replace there pipes then they pave. So many streets wait for paving while utilities are being replaced.   more ›
