Care.com, of Waltham, has purchased Brookline-based Parents in a Pinch.
A Waltham company that helps businesses and parents obtain child care services has purchased Parents in A Pinch, a Brookline child care service, according to the Boston Globe. Through the web, Care.com, of Waltham, matches families and corporate clients with caregivers to 7 million users in 15 countries, according to the Globe. Parents in A Pinch currently provides backup child care services to parents if regular caretakers can’t show up. Parents In A Pinch will move its 15 employees to Care.com’s Waltham office and has no plans for layoffs, according to the Globe.
