Don't Be Alarmed At Oversize Load In Waltham
Oversized truck load to pass through city on Monday, Jan. 16.
If you see a convoy of large vehicles pass through the city on Monday, Jan. 16, don’t be alarmed! It’s just an oversize load of equipment passing through the city, according to Waltham Police. The convoy, a load of electrical parts, will pass through the city on Main Street (Route 20), between 7:30 – 8 a.m., police said in a letter to Mayor Jeanette McCarthy. The convoy of three trucks will be escorted by four civilian trucks and two State Police cruisers is heading to the NStar facility on Lincoln Street in Brighton. The city of Boston plans to close Lincoln Street during the delivery process. Daryl Gushee Inc. owns the load.
