The Music Was Not Loud Enough... A Burlington man was arrested on May 5 after he allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol and fell asleep behind the wheel of his car in Newton Corner. According to Newton Police reports, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Washington Street and Centre Street for reports of a male party asleep behind the wheel of a red Mercedes. When officers arrived, they found the car stopped at the traffic signal, just before the on-ramp to the Mass Pike. Reports said the driver was asleep behind the wheel with the doors locked and loud music playing. The vehicle was running and in neutral. What Happens When You Drink and Drive Concord Police responded to a report of a Chevy pickup all over the road on Main Street by Harrington Avenue in West Concord. Whatever Happened to Plain Old Arm-Wrestling? An argument between co-workers at Russo's market in Watertown escalated and one of the men found himself taken into custody by Watertown Police. One man challenged the other to a fight, and the other man responded by pulling out a knife. Digging Yourself in Deeper A Watertown man got into even deeper legal trouble at a Boston courthouse when he reportedly paid his court fees with counterfeit money. Button Heist Weston Police received a report on March 22 of a residential burglary on Lexington Street. Police say a man arrived home after running errands for about three hours and found the window on his front door broken and his home burglarized. Ungodlike Behavior Waltham Police arrested a 61-year-old Medford woman for allegedly stealing an iPhone from a 12-year-old girl in during church services in Arlington last weekend. The girl told police she left her belongings, including her phone, in the back room of St. Camillus Church during the 9 a.m. service in which she was an alter server. Figure This One Out: View Porn, Pay the Feds? In Sudbury, a North Road resident reported suspicious circumstances involving his laptop computer. The responding officer determined a virus from a porn site the resident was surfing infected the computer. Don't Drink and Plow The Wayland Police Department received a call the night of Feb. 8 about an erratic snowplow operator in the area of Maple Street. Police responded to the scene and observed John Wright, 49, of Natick fail to stop for a red light and nearly back his plow into the officer. Police say that Wright was intoxicated and had an open bottle of vodka in the plow with him.
