New restaurant officially opening.
Moe's Southwest Grill new Waltham location will hold a grand opening tomorrow at 10 a.m. The restaurant, which had a soft opening earlier this year, is located at 831 Main St. and serves tex-mex food.

Moe's Southwest Grill serves Tex-Mex fare.
Moe's Southwest Grill opened on Main Street yesterday, joining the gorwing list of restaurants coming to the city. The eatery, located in the former Tony D's location, held its soft-opening to a steady crowd, according to Manager Marc Hugo. The restaurant, which underwent full renovations, serves tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads among other items. There are other locations in Natick, Chelmsford and Hanover. They also serve beer and wine and do corporate catering, take out and large orders. While an official grand opening date has yet to be scheduled, Moe's is open from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. daily, with parking behind the building and on adjacent streets. New restaurant will mean a few more jobs in the city.
If you are hungry for burriots and nachos, then next motnh you can add one more place to satisfy that craving. Moe’s Southwest Grill, which announced it was coming to Main Street, plans to open on Feb. 9, according to General Manager Marc Hugo. The new location will add 25-30 jobs to the city, according to Hugo, which is still looking to hire staff. Also, the new location will mean an unknown amount of additional tax revenue for the city since it is filling the spot that Tony’s Did previously. While the eatery plans to focus on sit-down service, the location is exploring offering catering services, Hugo said. Eatery to open next month.
Waltham just can’t get enough restaurants lately. Moe’s Southwest Grill has announced, through its Facebook page, that it plans to open a location at 831 Main St. on Feb. 9., where Tony D’s operated for years. Moe’s, which describes itself as a “rapidly-growing, fast-casual concept”, is looking to hire new employees, with paid training starting on Feb. 3. Moe’s serves tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads among other items, and has locations Natick, Chelmsford and Hanover. Moe’s is just one of several restaurants planning to come to Waltham in the future. Five Guys, Chipotle and Boloco all have plans to open locations in Waltham while Panera Bread is looking to open a second location.
