Six new stores and restaurants are being considered for the shoppling complex planned for the former Polaroid site on Main Street, according to Waltham Mayor Jeanette McCarthy. Starbucks, Marshall's, Bonefish Grill, 2Ovens, Jake & Joe's Sports Grille, and a major supermarket are all "being vetted" for the site, McCarthy announced in a statement to reporters. McCarthy did not specify which supermarket would be coming to the site, but Market Basket has previously said it wanted to open a store at the location.
