Waltham Man Busted For Growing Pot At Waltham Home
Suspect arrested in larger drug sting.
A Waltham man was arrested last Friday for growing marijuana at his city home. Douglas Contreras, 21, of 10 Prospect St., was arrested along with seven other adults and two juveniles as part of a months-long drug investigation, according to Wellesley and Needham Police. Specifically, Contreras was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in a school zone and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance laws. Jonathan P. Snyder, 27, of 16 Yale Road, Needham; Carlos Bruno, 18, of 43 Barton Road; Keaton Stacks, 17, of 17 Cedar St.; John R. Gruber, 21, of 83 Westgate Road; Jack Yan, 21, of 769 Worcester St., all Wellesley residents; and two 16-year-old males were also arrested in the investigation. Charges brought …
