Boca Restaurant and Bar bridges the divide between restaurant and dance club scene. Located on 11 Pine St. across from Landmark Embassy Movie Theater, the Latin American restaurant frequently caters to late afternoon and evening moviegoers. On Friday and Saturday nights, however, the establishment morphs into a nightclub of sorts. The tables are taken out and replaced with loud stereo systems and DJs playing reggaeton and hip-hop. The multi-functional approach draws many different faces, co-owner Calvin Burnard said. “What is unique about here, is we are actually a restaurant so we are able to get two or three different crowds,” Burnard said.
