Armed Robbery in Waltham; Suspect Arrested

Suspect allegedly robbed a gas station on Prospect Street.

Waltham Police arrested a 16-year-old Waltham man on Dec. 14 after he allegedly robbed a gas station with a BB gun. The incident started at around 9:57 p.m. on Dec. 14 when police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Colvin's Gas Station at 185 Prospect St., according to police. The robber had allegedly passed a note to the station clerk demanding an undetermined amount of money and fled the store with some cash, according to police.  Officers arrived and searched the areas of Curtis and Highland Streets and found a man matching the robber's description, according to police. The man fled but officers chased him as they waited for backup.
