Waltham Group Launches "Share a Coffee" Event To Prevent Domestic Violence

Event runs through this month.

Most people don't think of preventing domestic violence when they get their morning joe. Coffee, according to a local anti-domestic violence group, can help prevent domestic violence. REACH Beyond Domestic Violence has launched its "Share A Cup of Coffee" campaign intended to help people build relationships with others in hopes that it can prevent domestic violence. The event is the latest part of REACH'S Small Actions Campaign, according to REACH Community organizer Allison Berry. “Being able to talk to one and another … can really help to build a safer community,” Berry told Waltham Patch in an interview.
