Boy Who Went Missing OK
Had disappeared from Waltham neighborhood yesterday afternoon.
A 12-year-old boy returned home safely last night after going missing for about an hour. The boy, Derek Colossi, went missing from the area behind the Calvary Cemetery, around 220 Calvary Street, at 3:30 p.m., according to achildismissing.org, a national organization that distributes missing children alerts. The boy returned at 4:36 p.m. after a neighbor told him to go home, according to Police Sgt. Brian Lambert. "Somebody told him to go home," Lambert said. He said he did not know whether boy lived in Waltham. Police had been searching for him, had issued a physical description, and asked public to provide any information that would help locate him.
