Waltham Man Charged in Allston Home Invasion

The suspect allegedly helped hold four people hostage in an Allston home.

A Waltham man is facing serious charges after he allegedly helped hold four people hostage in a Boston home last week, according to the Boston Glob. Sean Bowler, 24, of Waltham is facing charges of home invasion and witness intimidation in connection with a Thursday, May 2 incident, according to the Globe. Also, Jacob Noseworthy, 29, of Allston, faces the same charges along with a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Both men were ordered held on $50,000 cash bail during a court hearing. Not guilty pleas were entered on their behalf, according to the Globe. UPDATED: Pair Charged in Waltham Home Invasion/Shooting

Waltham Police had been searching for a man involved in an armed home invasion on Dec. 7.

UPDATED, 3:55 p.m.: with more information from the Waltham Police Department:  Waltham Police have charged Andre Laventure, 26, of Manchster, New Hampshire and Cameron Fournier, 24, of 25 Rack Rd., Chelmsford with crimes in connection with an armed home invasion on Dec. 8.  Laventure faces the following charges: two counts of kidnapping, three counts of attempted murder, carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a home and home invasion. Fournier faces the following charges: home invasion and assault and battery. Police say both men entered 243 Lake St. at 11:30 p.m. and started a fight with three people inside. Waltham Man Busted For Seeking Prostitutes Online

Peter Salvucci, of Waltham, allegedly sought a prostitute online.

A 55-year-old Waltham man has been charged with seeking sex for a fee in Boston, according to Boston Police's media website, BPDNews.com. Boston Police charged Peter Savlucci with seeking sex for a fee on Thursday, Aug. 16 after conducting an undercover investigation into online prostitution in Boston, according to BPDNews.com. After a court hearing, Salvucci was released and is scheduled to return to court at a later date, according to the Boston Herald

Boston Police Arrest Suspect in Waltham/Brookline Store Robberies

Boston Police arrested Steven Lovering on charges of robbing a CVS in Waltham and Star Market in Brookline.

Three days after a man allegedly robbed a Star Market in Brookline and CVS in Waltham, Boston Police have him in custody.  Boston Police arrested Steven Lovering, 44 at around 3:15 p.m., according to Brookline Police, who announced the arrest on its Twitter feed. "Breaking news. Arrest made, Boston PD has arrested the suspect from BRKL Star Mkt robbery & car jacking. Nothing else available now," the tweet read. Waltham Man Busted For Dangerous Chase in Brighton

Suspect allegedly led police on car chase.

A Waltham man was arrested in Brighton over the weekend after leading police on a dangerous car chase.  Christian Burrion, 23, was arrested and charged with driving to endanger and failure to stop for a police officer, according to BPDNews.com, the official blog for the Boston Police. On Sunday, Feb. 12, at around 1:53 a.m., officers noticed a car speeding in the area of Harvard and Brighton avenues through an intersection filled with pedestrians trying to cross the street. Then, the car suddenly stopped, startling several pedestrians. The driver then made a u-turn down Brighton Avenue and sped off nearly hitting two pedestrians.
