Was Contreras Driving? Prosecutors Say Yes, Stand By Homicide Charges

Blanca Contreras is facing motor vehicle homicide charges from a 2011 crash in Waltham. However, some people say they believe her boyfriend, William Vasquez, was driving at the time of the accident.

As prosecutors continue their case against a woman accused of motor vehicle homicide in the death of a Waltham man, court papers show multiple individuals have testified she was not driving the car. Blanca Contreras, 29, of Waltham is facing multiple charges, including motor vehicle homicide, for allegedly striking with a car and killing Scott Coxall, 39, on Nov. 23, 2011. While Contreras's trial is set to start on June 13, Waltham District Court documents show several individuals involved in the case have repeatedly said Contreras was not driving the car. They say her boyfriend, William Vasquez, was driving at the time of the accident. Vasquez, in March 2012, told Waltham Police he was driving the car and that he lied previously when he …

Waltham Man Charged in Coxall Hit-And-Run Death

A Waltham man now claims he, and not his wife, was driving the car that struck and killed Scott Coxall.

The husband of the Waltham woman facing motor vehicle homicide charges has told police that he, and not his wife, was actually driving the car that struck and killed Scott Coxall in November of 2011, according to court records. Waltham Police have officially charged William Vasquez, 34, of 19 Mt. However, Vasquez was not formally charged by Waltham Police until Sept. 25, 2012.  According to the report, police, at the request of the Middlesex County District …

Should Law Bar Illegal Immigrants From Registering Cars?

Tell us what you think of the new law!

Should illegal immigrants living in Massachusetts residents be prohibited from registering a car? A new state law intended to prevent illegal immigrants from registering or operating a car requires anybody registering a vehicle provide proof of legal residence, a Social Security number or a license, our partners at Sharon Patch recently reported.  Previously, motorists were only required to show proof of insurance and their date of birth. The law would have prevented Blanca Contreras, a Waltham illegal immigrant accused of motor vehicle homicide of a Waltham man, from registering a car. However, the car she was allegedly driving during the incident was not registered to her.  Gov. Deval Patrick, who vetoed the law prior to lawmakers …

You better believe there will be a long list of lawsuits from the REAL citizens of this state. We live in a time where you're better off being a drug user, killer, criminal, or illegal immigrant rather than an american citizen. Shame on my and my parents for becoming citizens legally.
