1. Brandies University students will host a chamber music recital at 3 p.m. at 415 South St.  2. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapel will be accepting old cell phones for soldiers serving abroad.  3. Waltham High School's girls' varsity basketball team will face Acton-Boxborough High school in a home game at 7 p.m.  4. Registration for the Newton Community Service Center's summer camp will start. 5. Ten days remain until Valentines Day! Start planning that romantic date with your significant other. Use our directory to find the perfect place to go.

1. The Waltham Public Library will host a job networking event at 10 a.m. 2. Waltham High School's boys' varsity basketball team will face Acton-Boxborough at a 7:30 p.m. home game.  3. Veterans Memorial Rink will host a stick puck and play event at 12 p.m. 4. The Newton Free Library will host a cupcake decorating event at 7 p.m. 5. Remember to clear the sidewalk near your home of any ice.

Yoga, support groups and more.

1. Today is the last day to register for youth tennis lessons through the city's Recreation Department.  2. A Yoga class will be held today at 4:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Waltham. 3. The Jewish Family and Children's Service will host its Mothering Without a Model Support group at 7 p.m.   4. Waltham High School's boys' varsity basketball team will face Wayland High School tonight at 7 p.m. in a home game.  5. If you have snow on your sidewalk, clear it, especially if you live along a school route.
