Sensei Jim is a true master teacher. He's passionate about karate and a great leader for the kids. My son has studied with him since he was 4 years old, is progressing toward a black belt and looks forward to every class. The kids respect Sensei Jim learn a lot from him - not just about karate but about respect, self-control, kindness, etc. I highly recommend this school.

I joined this dojo after training for 10-plus years at several other dojos in MI, NY and NJ. I highly recommend this dojo for anyone interested in learning traditional martial arts and/or practical self-defense from expert teachers in a friendly atmosphere.
