Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted was founded in 1930 by Father James Baxter and Cardinal William O'Connel. Currently the church is run by Father James Pierri. In addition to weekly services the church also sponsors a host of ministries including religious education, a choir and community outreach programs. Sunday mass is held at 9am and 11am.
