On Jan. 19, the Appalachian Mountain Club will host a hike at Prospect Hill Park. The event begins at 11 a.m.
"This historic park is home to many species of wildlife and native plants. We will follow the trail through the forest to the top of Prospect Hill, which at 435 ft. in elevation is one of the highest points in the Boston area and offers fantastic views of the city. Note that we are meeting at the South entrance on Prospect Hill Road," the announcement reads.
Anybody wanting to participate can register by emailing AMCOutdoorsRx@outdoors.org. Please note the number of people and their ages when registering.
