Welcome to the WPO's 28th Season!

The Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra’s 28th season is starting off with a concert, Zombies! Witches!  Vacuum Cleaners!  on Sunday, October 27th, 3:00 p.m. that's fun and eerie--a great way to celebrate Halloween.  Where else could you experience a local concert featuring vacuum cleaners?!? The works of Saint-Saëns, Dvorak, Arnold, Rimsky-Korsakov and Mussorgsky, along with Daughtery's Viola Zombie with soloists Kathleen Kalogeras and Irina Narichkova, will provide thrills and chills for the whole family.  The WPO is also pleased to feature Tenor Sam Martinborough, who will present Poulsen’s Five Songs on Edgar Allan Poe.  Audience members are encouraged to attend in costume.

The 26th Holiday Pops on Sunday, December 1st at 2:00 p.m. will be the WPO's annual festival of holiday favorites and musical surprises, along with a singalong, raffles, refreshments, and cash bar. This popular event usually sells out with advanced sales; it’s recommended to reserve seats as soon as possible.  There is a group discount on reservations of tables for 10.

The winter concert on Saturday, February 15th, 7:30 p.m. will feature The Great Bs of Classical Music. The program includes stirring and dynamic works by Brahms (Tragic Overture) and Bruch, among others.
