- Pit bulls used to be considered one of the top family dogs in the country
- Since the dog fighting rings and gang use of pit bulls, many people have begun a witch hunt to eliminate these dogs, blaming the breed instead of owners who don't properly train their dogs (there are far more examples of pit bull heroes than pit bull villians but unfortunately the bites get the publicity, leading to unfounded fears of these dogs)
