Melrose's Steven Langton Wins Second Medal in Sochi

Langton returned to the Olympic podium Sunday in four-man bobsled.

After grabbing bronze with driver Steven Holcomb in two-man bobsled last Monday, Melrose’s Steven Langton picked up another bronze medal at the Sochi Olympics Sunday in the four-man event, again with Holcomb steering the way.

Langton and Holcomb, of Park City, Utah, were joined by Curt Tomasevicz, of Shelby, Neb., and Chris Fogt, of Alpine, Utah, in this latest run. Holcomb won gold in the event four years ago at the Vancouver games.

The United States’ top sled, nicknamed “The Night Train 2,” edged out Russia’s second sled by 0.03 seconds for the bronze. Russia’s top sled got the gold, Latvia’s the silver (results).
