TELL US: Lower College Tuition For Illegal Immigrants?
Tell us what you think of Gov. Deval Patrick's recent announcement on illegal immigrants attending state universities.
Massachusetts officials have announced they will now allow illegal immigrants to pay the in-state tuition rate to attend any one of the state's 29 public universities instead of the higher out-of-state rate., according to Boston.com
Immigrants, however, must obtain a federal work permit to qualify for the in-state rate, according to Boston.com. The announcement comes months after President Obama temporarily halted deportations for people under 30.
