Waltham Mural Arts Project

Another dream of mine has come to fruition. To have artists paint buildings that have been hit over and over again with graffiti.

It took years to get this done but with the help of many people, we have our second big mural!
Thanks to the Waltham West Suburban Chamber of Commerce, Watertown Savings Bank, The Home Depot of Waltham, The Phyllis Hola Foundation for the Arts, The Schuppe Family, and two key people, Boston artist Dana Wolfe and artist Pat Falco of the Lincoln Arts Project.

Boston abstract artist Dana Wolfe spent three weeks working on this piece. It represents the colors and streaks of light that one would see from a speeding train through a city at night. Well, that my take on it anyway.

The third piece was done by a young local graffiti artist under the guidance of Wolfe. He later went back with friends to show them the finished work. I believe that this may be a great way to create art around the city and curb graffiti as well. What say you readers?
