Waltham Student Wins Award For Good Grades, Citizenship

A Waltham High School student was recently honored for her good grades and civic engagement.

Middlesex County District Attorney Gerry Leone honored Cindy Lee and 19 other students from area schools as part of the DA’s Law Day event on Monday, May 7 which exposes students to the public court system, according to the DA’s office.

Leone and Middlesex Bar Association President Philip Privitera presented the students with the awards.

Lee was chosen by the Waltham Public School’s District to participate.

“I commend these students for their hard work and dedication to their education that earned them this honor today and hope they will consider using their talents to serve the public,’ Leone said a statement.
