Waltham City Preliminary Election Results

The election results are unofficial.

Voters in the citywide preliminary election narrowed the candidate field Tuesday by eliminating two candidates in two races.

In Ward 2, candidates William Fowler and Kenneth Doucette gained enough votes to move onto the Nov. 5 general election. M. Justin Barrett, who received 117 votes, failed to move onto the next election.

In the race for three School Committee seats, candidate Michelle Kosboth was eliminated from the field after receiving 330 votes. That means incumbents Susan Burstein and Lisa Limonciello will face off against Kathleen Dowcett, Stephen Rando Jr., Susan Monfette and John Frassica in the Nov. 5 election.

Also, voters in the Nov. 5 election will decide winners for the remaining citywide races which include Wards 3 - 9, Ward 1 and six At-Large Council seats.
