Waltham residents now have one more way to get information about the City Clerk's Office -- Twitter.
The Waltham City Clerk has joined Twitter under the handle, @WalthamClerk, according to Assistant City Clerk Thomas Curtin.
Curtin, in an interview with Waltham Patch, said the officer would be tweeting information about the services it offers among other things. Curtin, who has a personal Twitter account, said he will run the clerk's account.
"This clerk's office has always been on the cutting edge," Curtin said, adding City Clerk Russ Malone signed off on the idea. "He was very enthusiastic. He thought it would be a good tool for us."
