See An Alleged Crime On the T? MBTA Has App For That

T launches new crime-fighting app.

The MBTA has launched a new smartphone app to let riders report suspicious activity, according to the Boston Herald

The app, called "See Say," lets riders quietly tip police to incidents with just a tap of their phone. Users can also send photos to police, according to the Herald. Dispatchers can communicate with riders to get more information.

The app is now available on iPhones and will be available on Droid phones in July.
