Meet the Governor's Council Candidates Soon
The public can attend and ask questions of the candidates.
A "meet the candidates event" will soon be held for the race for the 3rd district Governor’s Council seat.
The Concord Democratic Town Committee will host the meet and greet on June 6, at 7 p.m. at the Hunt Recreation Center at 90 Stow St. in Concord, according to the committee.
Incumbent Marilyn Devaney, as well as candidates Charlie Shapiro and Harry S. Margolis are scheduled to attend and will be taking questions from the public.

The third district includes Woburn, Weston, Westborough, Watertown, Waltham, Sudbury, Stow, Southborough, Shirley, Northborough, Newton, Maynard, Marlborough, Littleton, Lincolon, Lexington, Hudson, Harvard, Concord, Chelmsford, Carlisle, Burlington, Brookline, Boxborough, Belmont, Bedford, Ayer, Arlington, and Acton. It also includes parts of Boston, and Wellesley.
