LETTER: Alex Buck Listens to Waltham Residents

Alex Buck is running for the 3rd Middlesex State Senate seat.

The following is a letter to the editor from a Waltham resident.

My name is Brian Schon and I am a resident of Waltham, Massachusetts. I am
writing in support of Alex Buck for State Senate.

I’ve tried to stay engaged in local civics as a Ward 2 representative to the Waltham Democratic City Committee (WDCC).

It is my understanding of these issues that leads me to support Alex Buck as the next Democratic State Senator to represent Waltham. Alex is not just another career candidate, and he is someone who I have met personally and can confidently say would best support Waltham.

He truly believes in giving a voice to local residents. This is something I saw first hand as Alex frequently attended WDCC meetings, an action matched by no other candidate. At the Fourth of July parade in Chelmsford, Alex introduced himself to almost everyone along the parade route, only hours after spending time meeting residents in Waltham.

While other candidates have been busy beating their chests on laurels, connections, and networks, Alex has spent months knocking on doors in Waltham and hosting coffee sit-downs with local residents. He realizes that only by listening to people can you really find out what they want.

I urge you to vote for someone who is not just another candidate, but who is an active member in his local community, and a person who truly represents the people. I urge you to vote for Alex Buck for State Senate.

Sincerely,
Brian Schon
