Hearing Set for Waltham Day Center Project

The hearing begins at 7 p.m.

The Waltham Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Dec. 3 on the center's proposed move to 16 Felton St.

Specifically, the hearing will be to review the Center's application to reduce the amount of parking required at the site, according to an announcement from the Day Center.  The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. at the Arthur J. Clark Government Center at 119 School St.

"Hopefully this will be the final hurdle to moving into our new home," Day Center Executive Director Marilyn Lee-Tom said in an email. "The majority of our guests do not drive. It would be a hardship for our non-profit center if we had to purchase parking and there are public parking spaces behind our new home."

The Day Center is currently located in the First Presbyterian Church of Waltham on Alder Street.
