Woman Sentenced in Waltham Fraud Case

Heather Christianson has pleaded guilty to defrauding her Waltham employer of a lot of money.

A Worcester woman has been sentenced to two years in prison for stealing $50,000 from her Waltham employer, Autodesk Inc., according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. 

Heather Christianson, 26, of Worcester, was sentenced on Tuesday, Nov. 27, during a hearing at the Middlesex Superior Court. She pleaded guilty on Nov. 5 to three counts of larceny over $250.

Judge Jane Haggerty ordered Christianson to serve one year of the sentence with the balance of it suspended for five years, according to the DA's office. She will also serve five years on probation and was ordered to pay $50,000 in restitution.
