A Waltham man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly breaking into a Blease Drive in Tewksbury home early Wednesday morning and attacking family members with a knife.
According to , officers responded to 55 Blease Drive after getting a call reporting that Eathan Becker 25, of 181 College Farm Road, Waltham, had broken into the home through the basement and was engaged in a fight with residents.
Officers responding to the address found evidence of the break-in and were informed Becker was armed with a knife. The officers discovered Becker in the living room fighting with two other residents of the home. According to Sheehan, Becker’s hands were covered in blood.
The residents had managed to disarm Becker but he refused to obey the commands of officers. According to Sheehan, Becker was belligerent and came at the officers in "an assaultive manner."
Becker's actions forced officers to use a stun gun to subdue him and place him under arrest, said Sheehan
Becker is charged with attempted murder, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of domestic assault and battery, breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony, malicious destruction of property over $250, armed assault in a dwelling and resisting arrest.
Sheehan said Becker is related to the residents of 55 Blease Drive and was angry that they refused to bail him out of jail after he'd been arrested on Sept. 11 in Waltham for domestic assault. When he finally did get bailed, Becker allegedly headed to Tewksbury with a knife to break into the Blease Drive home and attack his family members.
Becker managed to assault several family members before they were able to disarm him, according to Sheehan.
