Waltham Police Searching For 'Armed, Dangerous' Person Involved In Shooting

Police are searching for a man in connection with a shooting in Waltham.

Waltham Police are searching for an "armed and dangerous" man involved in a Friday, Dec. 7 shooting in Waltham. 

Police say Andre Laventure, 26, is considered armed and dangerous and is possibly with another man named Cameron Fournier. Laventure is driving a black 2000 Dodge Dakota with a Massachusetts plate, 621 NG8, according to police. 

Laventure previously lived in Watertown and both men are known to frequent Watertown. Laventure also has ties to Manchester, New Hampshire.

Waltham Police believe Laventure was involved in an incident they called a shooting, kidnapping and home invasion on Dec. 7. Police responded to 243 Lake St. at around 11:30 p.m. for a report of gunshots fired. As a result of a fight at the home, shots were fired at three individuals, according to police. Nobody was injured. Police are investigating the incident.
