Waltham Police Investigating Armed Robbery

Waltham Police are investigating an armed robbery of the Mobil gas station on Moody Street on Thursday.

The incident began around 9:30 a.m. at 845 Moody St. when police received a report of an armed robbery at the station, according to police.

A woman entered the station and brandished a box cutter at the clerk as she demanded money from the register. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled. She fled west on foot down Crescent Street.

The suspect is described as a white female, 5 feet, 7 inches tall. She was wearing black stretch pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a gray t-shirt. She used her shirt and hand to cover her face.

Police do not believe the incident was connected to three other recent robberies.
