Waltham Police Chief Gets More Freedom
Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix is facing serious domestic violence charges.
Facing domestic violence charges, Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix now has a little more freedom as he remains under house arrest.
A Concord District Court judge has eased LaCroix's conditions of release. The judge lifted LaCroix's house arrest between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., but he must continue to wear the GPS monitoring bracelet and not go near the victims' homes, according to Middlesex County District Attorney spokeswoman Stephanie Chelf Guyotte. LaCroix is required to stay under house arrest between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., according to Guyotte.
The changes to LaCroix's release were made during a Sept. 25 hearing at the Concord Court.

LaCroix is facing serious charges for allegedly beating his wife and her friend. He is currently on administrative leave from the police department.
